Social Emotional Learning

Social Emotional Learning is very important since it helps kids gain skills in important areas beyond core school subjects. SEL helps kids identify their feelings, understand and communicate with others, build strong relationships, and make good, empathetic decisions.
7th and 8th grades did the “CraZy SocKs DaY!”, in which they wore different colored socks! When asked about their feelings; they said they were happy, enthusiastic, motivated, and excited. These emotions are very important in making our kids more motivated to learn!
Students were very happy and had lots of fun!
